Our organic agave grows in the mineral-rich red soils of Los Altos de Jalisco, where high altitude and climate create exceptional sweetness.
Committed to the land, we used only organic, sustainably grown agave, hand-harvested at peak maturity. Preserved by generations, this artisanal process-slow-roasted agave, natural fermentation, and oak aging-continues today more than a century later, we proudly produce Tequila Tres Ese Blanco Orgánic, Reposado Orgánic, and Extra Añejo.

Mezcal Machetazo by Mayalen follows a traditional mezcal production process that has been passed down through generations. The brand Machetazo offers different varieties from 3 states in Mexico: Guerrero, Oaxaca and San Luis Potosí.
The name of our mezcal symbolizes a part of the complex and labor intensive process behind the mezcal production. With a swing of the machete or machetazo, our mezcal masters mark the beginning of the adventure behind the making of this mystical spirit.

Our brand began with the intention of creating a drink for friends and family by focusing on the selection of mature wild agave plants. We acquired a rustic distillery, known as a palenque that had been active since 1949 in the mountains of Guerrero, where to this day, we enjoy the artisanal culture of our Maestros Mezcaleros whose knowledge of mezcal making has been passed down as part of their family heritage.
The operation of the process is meticulously supervised by our Maestros Mezcaleros. We respect the uniqueness of each batch and its original essence. Our product is 100% artisanal and organic.
AGRICULTURE
Our core project is the development of coconut water with the possibility of expansion to virgin coconut oil production. Main production activities take place in the state of Guerrero, Mexico, specifically in the locality of Papanoa.

We hold direct access to large family-owned plantations in the Zihuatanejo area with a minimum production of 100,000 coconuts per month, as well as access to six large local coconut recollection patios within a 45 kilometer radius of the Papanoa plant.
The potential for the exploitation of coconut water and coconut derived products in the state of Guerrero is undeniable.
Our company is the ideal corporate mechanism required to create the necessary synergies between the local community, producers and final clients that result in the winning equation to fully take advantage of what the region has to offer.

About the Director
John Dickie Scottish-born, Mexico-bred, multi-hyphenate, award-winning film-maker living in the mountains of Oaxaca. He has raveled all over the world making character-driven documentary films – from fishing villages on the Pacific Coast of Colombia to the front lines of the civil war in Sudan - both independently and for media like Al Jazeera, NatGeo, Univision and Channel 4.
I just completed his first fiction feature, Moronga (“Black Pudding”), a surreal western/black comedy starring Matt O’Leary and Kristyan Ferrer, currently in festivals and scheduled for theater release in 2019. Next up, an original scripted series. I also dabble in 360Ëš and VR, and love mezcal. Salud.
